Mobbin

Mobbin is a searchable library of real app and website screens: more than 620,000 screens from 1,000+ apps on iOS and the web, by its own count in October 2026, with flows, motion and a Figma plugin.

It suits founders designing their own product who want to see how shipped apps handle a paywall, an onboarding flow or an empty state before drawing theirs.

The free plan is a limited preview; Pro is $15 a month billed every 3 months, or $10 a month billed yearly, as checked on 29 October 2026.

The IndieHacked breakdown

What it does

Mobbin is a library of screenshots from real, shipped products: more than 620,000 screens from 1,000+ apps on iOS and the web, by its own count in October 2026. You search in plain language or filter by pattern, interface element and app category, and paid plans add Deep Search, which reads what you mean rather than matching the words you typed.

Beyond single screens it records multi-step flows, and screens with motion as short videos. You save references into collections and copy them into Figma with its plugin. On Pro and Team, an MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor or ChatGPT search the library while they build; the REST API needs Team.

Who it suits

Founders who design their own product and want to see how others solved a screen before drawing theirs: a paywall, a sign-up flow, a settings page. Ten shipped versions side by side show the patterns users already know, though Mobbin's own guidance warns that a recurring pattern "is a convention, not automatically a best practice".

It fits a workflow built around Figma or an AI coding agent. References go straight into a Figma file, and through the MCP server the agent that builds your interface can pull real examples as it works. Pro covers one person; Team adds shared collections and the API for a small team.

Not the right fit for

Founders building for Android, or designing emails. Mobbin covers iOS and the web, and its own comparison says it covers neither Android nor email today, pointing to Page Flows for both.

Founders who want to pay month to month or try a paid plan first. The shortest term is 3 months, payments are not refunded, and the free plan has no search or flows. The screens belong to the companies that made them: references to learn from, not assets to copy.
