The IndieHacked breakdown
What it does
Higgsfield is a creative suite for AI video and images that runs in the browser. Marketing Studio turns a product URL or image into a video ad in UGC, unboxing, tutorial or TV spot format, with audio and lip sync. Soul ID trains a character from photos so the same face appears in every image and video, and Cinema Studio adds camera control and multi-shot scenes.
The same subscription opens models from other companies, among them Seedance, Kling, Veo, Sora 2 and Nano Banana, plus Higgsfield Audio for voiceover, voice cloning and translation. Each generation costs credits by model, resolution and length, shown on the Generate button before you confirm. An MCP connector lets Claude and other agents generate from your plan's credits; a separate API for your own product is paid in dollars from a prepaid balance.
Who it suits
Founders who make their own marketing videos: a product demo for launch day, a run of short ads to test hooks, a presenter clip for a landing page. Commercial use is allowed on every plan, paid plans drop the watermark, and in its terms the company "does not claim ownership of any of your Inputs or Outputs".
It fits a founder who wants to compare models without a subscription to each. One credit balance covers Kling, Veo, Seedance and Higgsfield's own models, and Plus and Ultra add a period of unlimited generations on selected models, used on the website.
Not the right fit for
Founders who want to automate generation at a flat price. Unlimited and free generations work only on higgsfield.ai: through MCP, the command line or any automated tool, every generation spends credits, and video inside your own product means the separate pay-as-you-go API.
Founders who need their uploads kept out of model training, or a desktop or mobile app. On self-serve plans Higgsfield may use your content and outputs to train its models, with different terms for Enterprise. It runs in the browser only, and anyone whose face or voice you upload must have given their consent.
